Coffee Competence Centre (CCC): Schaerer coffee expertise travels the world »
Following Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates and the Benelux countries, the CCC model is now conquering the German market
The quality offensive of the long-established
Swiss coffee machine manufacturer, Schaerer, has reached another milestone in
2013. This summer customers and partners of the German subsidiary will be able
to take advantage of the additional services provided by the Schaerer Coffee
Competence Centre. The concept for this special training and consulting
institution focuses on the art of coffee preparation and was first implemented
by Schaerer AG in Zuchwil, Switzerland, in 2000. Its aim is to give more
emphasis to the strong link between a passion for coffee and product knowledge.
Since then, the continuously enhanced service concept has radiated out into the
world. The needs-based training courses provide an insight into the numerous
factors that need to be considered and conciliated to prepare high-quality
coffee beverages. Qualified trainers impart their comprehensive coffee
knowledge covering the entire coffee value chain and provide expert advise in
all matters up to the manufacturing process. With this approach, Schaerer has
set itself apart from its competition in recent years. Partner companies in
Taiwan and the United Arab Emirates and the Schaerer subsidiary in Belgium have
adopted the concept in various forms. In addition, restaurant suppliers of the
Schaerer network in Thailand and Korea were inspired by the idea and have
established their own coffee training centres modelled on the Schaerer AG
forerunner. The German subsidiary will now pick up on the far-reaching success
of these international projects and promote coffee expertise in the Federal
Republic of Germany.

"Schaerer Coffee Prime" gets a boost »
New functions increase the variety
of uses and offer uncompromising coffee quality in every situation
The long-established Swiss coffee machine manufacturer Schaerer is ushering in the year by launching a wealth of enhancements to the "Schaerer Coffee Prime". The new, optional features of the latest member of the Schaerer product family further improve its flexibility of use. With larger hoppers for coffee beans, chocolate powder and milk powder, the operator profits from considerably more autonomy in the daily routine of supplying coffee. In addition, the optional powerpack generates a performance boost when preparing up to 40 freely programmable beverage compositions. Because of the 2-kilowatt boiler, demanding customer requirements can be met even during peak periods. However, quantity never detracts from quality: with the new powerpack, XXL versions of cappuccino, latte macchiato and other beverages can be prepared in the usual time and with the usual high quality of flavour. Last but not least, the Schaerer Coffee Prime has been given an enhanced appearance: the coffee experience is rounded out perfectly with individual animations that can be played above on the 7-inch colour display. Thus, the coffee machine can also be used as an attractive advertising medium.
