
The Spanish like to drink caffè lungo (also referred to in Spain as americano). It is often enjoyed with the typical dulces for breakfast at the local bar. A lungo is an espresso that is topped off with hot water.

6.8 – 7.5 g of roughly ground espresso
55 ml of hot water (90° - 95° C)
Preparation
Extraction time: 25 - 30 seconds. The espresso is topped off with hot water.
