Here you will find instructions regarding the hygienic cleaning of your coffee machine’s touch display. The 2nd Screen provides the self-service guest with a hygienic, contactless and safe way to obtain the desired coffee drink - in just two simple steps:
- The guest scans the QR code on the touch screen with a smartphone or tablet; the application then opens on the mobile device.
- The beverage menu appears and the desired beverage can be selected.
The order is transmitted to the coffee machine. Then the drink is prepared, and the application closes automatically.

If you take your coffee machine out of operation for a long period of time, we recommend the following sequence. When doing so, note that the preparation process depends on the respective Schaerer device and the equipment variant.
