The CCC – A centre for success
The Coffee Competence Centre (CCC), the in-house service and training centre in Zuchwil, is a success story with many chapters.
At the CCC, our customers obtain individual coffee concepts and solid know-how of coffee and coffee machines, allowing them to achieve a higher coffee quality, more satisfied customers and higher sales.
With the "Create your own CCC" concept, we support our partners in building their own CCC and sharing in our success.
At the CCC, we train a large number of our employees to become SCAE-certified "Basic Baristas" with the ability to provide expert customer support and satisfied customers.

The comprehensive coffee knowledge of our CCC specialists flows directly into the development of new and more advanced coffee machines and leads to innovative technologies.
Courses & services
As part of a range of modular seminars, the Coffee Competence Centre gives you the opportunity to learn about the importance of the various quality and taste factors in coffee preparation.
In addition to this, you will discover from our trainers more about all the key factors in the coffee processing chain as well as how to set the perfect parameters and the effects of these settings on the coffee aroma and quality.
The Coffee Competence Centre provides you with individual support with identifying the right machine(s) for your coffee concept, with training courses for employees (products, quality and machines) and/or on collaborating with your coffee roasting house.
The goal we share with you is to offer high quality coffee beverages on the basis of qualified knowledge relating to the whole subject of coffee, whether in a café or in a large enterprise, and to be perceived as an expert partner when it comes to the joys of drinking coffee. The highest possible coffee quality means happy guests and customers.
Monika Oeggerli has been a trainer at the Coffee Competence Centre of Schaerer AG since September 2017. Previously she worked for 2½ years on an international collaboration project developing marketing and sales at a cocoa and coffee project in Bolivia and for four years as a Product Manager for Fair Trade coffee and cocoa.
She is currently training in coffee preparation to become an authorised SCA (Speciality Coffee Association) Trainer in Sensory Experience.

Coffee has long held a unique fascination for Monika, and she finds the field of coffee exciting, varied, rewarding and inspiring. She is always pleased to pass on this passion and her expert knowledge to course participants.
Daniel Felber is a Technical Trainer in the Technical Support department at Schaerer AG and provides training in «Perfect Settings».
He has over 20 years of experience in the coffee industry and is a «Foundation» level SCA-certified barista (formerly Level 1).
For him, coffee means passion and enjoyment. With pleasure and passion, he is always pleased to share his expertise and his enthusiasm for coffee and coffee machines with you.
